Jennifer's Cards

Jennifer McSwain, is a great talent. I love her work, espically with identites. She has started her own business JenMac, this is her card that we printed at Copper Dog. She was so kind to come by and hang out while we printed her cards. We discovered that our press is definetly a girl, everything can be going along just beautifully and then something strange starts to happen. I think she needs a name...

This package was printed for our friend Tammy Free, she used to bartend at the old "Sundance Bar and Grill" in the Congaree Vista. She is getting married in one of our favorite places ... St. Augustine. This was an invitation to her recepiton that she is having at 701 Whaley in Columbia.

Fun Day at Copper Dog

So a few weekends ago, Copper Dog Printed the wedding invitations for my good friends Frances Zeitler and Scott Grosse. They are two very special people and make a perfect couple. Lauren Landers designed the invites and we printed them on Gruppo Cordenons 111# Canaletto Bianco Cover with a purple PMS. While they were all there we got some great shots that they were so kind to share.

Frances and Scott Letterpress Invitation

We had a great weekend printing Frances and Scotts wedding invites. The beautiful purple ink letterpressed beautifuly on the Gruppo Cordenons Canaletto. Lauren Landers desgined them for Frances. Lauren has her own buisness desinging wedding packages. The finish product will have a belly band to match the purple ink in a shimmery "Stardream Punch" The final envelope will be "Stardream Serpentine" a beautiful apple green color. I can't wait to see it all together.

Letterpress Wine Labels

This is my first blog post and I am looking forward to sharing what my husband and I do for fun. We love the finer things in life, letterpress, wine, and dogs just to name a few of our favorites. We have been making our own wine now for almost over a year. This is our latest batch, "Pomegranate Wild berry Zinfandel". The taste of the Pomegranate in the wine is fabulous, and I must admit it will make you very happy. This batch was fortified with a little extra sugar in the fermentation process. We finally decided to letterpress this label on our 1900 Chandler and Price platten press. We also printed on a brown bag to carry it in. "Seabrook Creek" is named after our creek we have running behind the house.


Our letterpress company is Copper Dog Press named after our Cocker Spaniel who is a beautiful copper color. Although my son insisted on calling her Sandy (you know how kids always win).
